Bonjour, my name is Evelyne Burridge. I am from the Southwest France near Biarritz.
I have lived abroad all my adult life. My husband and I have traveled around the world for his career and we've raised two wonderful sons. In 2014, we relocated from Switzerland to Dana Point.
Ten years ago, I decided to go back to school to obtain my diploma to teach French as a second language. I love teaching French, sharing my culture, and inspiring students to become fluent in French.
For the past 5 years in California, I have been teaching at an international language school in Costa Mesa, while at the same time also providing private lessons to individuals and small groups.
In addition, I am grateful and excited that in the last two years, the Dana Point community center as well as the Laguna Beach Senior Center have given
me the opportunity to offer French
classes in their community.
I fully understand the joy and challenges of learning a second language (as English is my second language) , so whatever level you are at in French, whether you are a complete beginner or more advanced, I have a class and program for you.
I am dynamic, full of energy and also very patient. My classes are interactive, challenging and fun. My students love the classes and soon realize that in a short time they are able to express themselves in French.
